The Biblical truth about Praise & Worship 3 hours
There are many debates on how praise & worship should be or should not be. Questions like Is there really a need to have an outward expression? Is P&W today filled with so much hype? Is it too contemporary? Have we lost our reverence to God? Why can’t I worship the way I like to? In this workshop we are going to search the scriptures and discover what does the word of God say about praise & worship.
3 clear aspects of God’s presence 1 hour
There are 3 obvious ways that God reveals himself. When you know how to tap into His presence, you will have a new level of relationship with Him each time you enterInto His presence.
3 + 3 simple truths a worship leader must know 1 ½ hours
A worship leader has a very big responsibility in ushering people to engage into the presence of God. In this workshop we will begin to discover that if we do it the right way, we will see that it is simpler than we think.
3 important components of a worship team (theory & practical session) 3 hours
Musicians and singers play a very important role with their instrument. Many think that it’s just about the ability to strike the right chord, beat, rhythm and sounding good or playing tight. During this workshop you will discover how to tap into the spiritual realm and enjoy worshipping God as you learn to play as a team.
Making your worship band sound good (Theory & practical session) 3 hours
This module is a companion to the “3 important components of a worship team”. It can run separately but it is more complete if you are able to run both of these modules together. In this workshop we will breakdown every instrument and identify each ones role and when or how should they play. We have design this module for any band whether new or old, they will be able to learn and execute this practical session.
There is so much creativity we can do in our praise & worship time. Here you will learn how to engage with the congregation, engaging with one another and learning how to create different dimensions with your music. If you have not done the “3 important components of a worship team” & “making your worship sound good”, you will find it a handicap doing this workshop.
Wanna be a song writer? 1 ½ hours
Our songwriters will be sharing on their experiences in song writing, how and when do they write a song, their inspiration and also tips in song writing. There will be a time for Q&A.
How to record your music and make it sound professional 1 1 ½ hours
In today’s technology, if you know how to make use of your computer and music instruments, you can do wonders. During this workshop, you will discover simple ways of recording your materials. We will also be sharing on our experiences, tips on what equipments to buy and share with you the process of how we do our recording. There will be a time for Q&A.
How to record your music and make it sound professional 2 1 ½ hours
In this part 2 of this workshop, we are going into more detail on different music software and how to basically use some of them. A basic understanding on midi and how to organize your recording so it will sound professional. There will be a time of Q&A.
Characteristics of Sound 1 & 2 3 hours
What is one of the most important thing that happens in a church all the time? Would you agree that it is people congregating in the church hall to either praise & worship our God or hear their pastor preach. Everything that we do in a church involves sound. If the building of the church has a lot of “echo”, it will irritate your congregation and if the music is too loud, it will be disturbing to your congregation’s ears. In this workshop you will learn the basics of acoustics, characteristics of microphones, how a sound system functions, basic audio engineering skills and many other practical tips.
Building a sound team that works 1 ½ hours
Since we know that sound is one of the most important, we have to build a team that knows how to operate and organize the team efficiently. In this workshop we are going to teach you all what we have learned through years building our sound team. Sharing with you our mistakes and what works. There will be a time of Q&A.
How to run an effective Music Ministry 2 hours
*Please note that each module that is listed above always start with the basic foundation. Therefore if you feel that there is a specific workshop that needs more attention, we are able to progress to an intermediate level for each module. Let us know and we can inform you how many hours more each module you choose for intermediate level would take.
Learn techniques that can help you play the piano that helps you enhance your worship experience with God. In this workshop you will learn how to worship God with your instrument prophetically. On the practical side, you will discover how to construct passing chords, discovering arpeggios and many more exciting tools.
In beat with the Heart Of God 1 & 2 (Drum Workshop) 4 hours
Discover the importance of being a time keeper within the worship team, playing both dynamically as well as prophetically. This workshop teaches a drummer not only to be a solid backbone for a band but also serves as a guide for releasing skillfully-executed grooves into acceptable worship unto God.
In harmony with the Heart of God 1 & 2 (Vocal Workshop) 4 hours
Whether you’re a Worship Leader or a Back-up vocalist; it’s important to maximize the quality of your singing in terms of breathing, pitching, projection and positioning of the voice. Apart from techniques, we will be touching on the basics of how to worship in the prophetic realm.
